French giants US Valenciennes beat fellow EuroLeague Women side Ros Casares 66-49 to clinch the third City of Valencia Trophy.
USVO travelled to Spain and showed they have not lost a step during the winterbreak.
The visitors' defence was so good on Wednesday evening that their hosts did not score their first basket until the game was more than five and a half minutes old.
Boba Tuvic had 14 points in the win for USVO.

Brazilian international Janeth made her debut for Ros Casares. Janeth, who will represent her country at the FIBA World Championship for Women next year on home soil, had only four points.
"She's only played one game and was a bit lost, but that is normal," said Ros Casares coach Esteban Albert.
"She is going to be a mystery, even though she is an important signing but I think she will be important for us in the second round of the (EuroLeague Women) campaign."
Ros Casares, who have four wins and four defeats in Group A of the EuroLeague Women, next host Dexia Namur on January 12 while USVO are top of Group C with a 7-1 record.
Their next opponents are K Cero ICP Kosice.
As for the contest City of Valencia Trophy contest, Albert said: "The game against Valenciennes was a good clash for us and we saw clearly what we need to do to improve."
The game also offered another glimpse at one of the best brother-sister combinations in European basketball.
Jennifer Digbeu, the 18-year-old sister of former French international Alain Digbeu, played for USVO and scored three points.
The 1.90m center has made two appearances for USVO in the EuroLeague Women this season.
The best known brother-sister combo is in Spain - DKV Joventut's Rudy Fernandez and his older sister Marta of Barcelona. Both are Spanish internationals.
Ros Casares now travel to Leon to take part in the Copa de la Reina.
They face Leon in the quarter-finals of that competition.
Ros Casares were the winners of the Copa de la Reina in the 2002, '3 and '4 campaigns.
