EiffelTowers Den Bosch defeated Apoel 82-74 to earn a trip to the Last 16 of the EuroChallenge.
The Dutch team bounced back from an 81-66 defeat to Apoel on December 9 to win three EuroChallenge games in a row and finish second in Group H.
Last week's 74-70 victory at French leaders Strasbourg was huge, but so was the second game against Apoel.
That's because a loss to the Cypriot club would have allowed Strasbourg to leapfrog Den Bosch into second place and thus knock the Dutch team out of the competition.
As it was, EiffelTowers led by as many as 15 points early in the fourth quarter on a shot by Jerome Beasley before easing to an eight-point triumph.
Had Don Beck's side won by 16, they would have finished first ahead of Apoel as both sides finished with 4-2 records.
Beasley and Anthony Richardson each had 17 points while Dutchman Kees Akerboom led the way with 20.
Akerboom was a scintillating four of six from long range.
Sullivan Phillips scored a game-high 16 points for first-place Apoel.
