Both Kayseri Kaski spor and Dynamo Moscow are in the box-seat to advance to the EuroCup Women Final ahead of the semi-final second leg games.

Kayseri, in particular, look to already have one foot firmly in another Final, having just missed out on being crowned champions last year.

The Turkish club claimed a 79-60 road win at MBK Ruzomberok last week and unsurprisingly, Club President, Ender Batukan is delighted to have taken a giant stride towards successive Final appearances.

He said, "We are now the only team representing Turkey in EuroCup Women and we'd love to bring the trophy to Kayseri.

"We have been making efforts in this direction this season and pushing last years' champion Dynamo Kursk out of the tournament in the quarter-finals has shown this desire.

"In beating MBK Ruzomberok, we wrote a good result, since from the first minute of the match, the players established their superiority and a 19-point win takes us one step closer to the Cup."

The result of the first semi-final game leaves MBK Ruzomberok with a difficult mountain to conquer. They have been outstanding on the road all season and for now, head coach Stefan Svitek is focusing on simply producing an improved performance when they take to the court in Kayseri after a tough first game.

"The girls tried to fight against a quality opponent" said the play-caller.

"We committed a large number of unforced turnovers, plus our shooting success was once again low, only 35%.

"We certainly played with nervousness because it was a EuroCup Women [encounter] and also at home in front of so many spectators.

"Our opponents are tall and revenge will be very difficult to achieve - we just want to play a good match in Turkey."

14. Glory Johnson (Chevakata)
A lot is riding on the shoulder of Glory Johnson who holds the key to Chevakata having any hope of advancing to the final

Dynamo Moscow are also well placed to progress, albeit at the expense of Chevakata, having chalked up an 82-73 home win against their domestic rivals in the first game.

It was a result that handed Dynamo a third win against Chevakata this season, having already beaten them twice in the Russian League. Consequently the locals in Vologda need their favourites to not only make it fourth time lucky and find an elusive victory, but also do so by double-digits.

It's a tall order, although Dynamo Moscow come into the game having lost on the road at Spartak Noginsk last weekend which may give the hosts some confidence. There are also a few other reasons for being hopeful of a comeback in the tie.

Chevakata finished the first game strongly having trailed by as many as 16 points and so potentially have the momentum and belief. They can also rely on Glory Johnson to be as an inspiration and game winner. Already averaging a season double-double before the first encounter, she underlined her quality with 24 points and 18 rebounds.

Chevakata are also unbeaten on their home court in the completion and gunning for a sixth successive victory.

As for Dynamo Moscow, head coach Vladimir Shtam clearly expressed his belief after the first game that his American players can perform even better and certainly if playmaker Kristi Toliver manages to have one of her better games, it could prove significant in helping to seal a spot in the Final.
