Brittney Thomas and Telge Basket opened their first ever EuroCup Women campaign with a surprise win over Dynamo-GUVD

Telge Basket came from behind in the fourth quarter to get their EuroCup Women campaign off to a winning start as they beat Dynamo GUVD 67-59 in Group B.

The visitors had a one-point edge on Anastasiya Shilova's steal and lay-up at the start of the final stanza. but the hosts quickly snatched the lead back and Chloe Kerr's lay-up then sparked a 6-0 Telge run that saw them build the lead they needed to see out the win.

Amanda Zuhai finished with a monster double-double of 22 points and 18 rebounds for the victors while Brittney Thomas had 15.

Dynamo Kursk made a huge statement about their intentions in this competition as they jumped out to a 2-0 start with a 104-39 rout of Olimpia.

Dynamo scored 34 points in the second quarter alone, and in total outscored the visitors 60-16 in the middle two periods.

Ekaterina Arseneva had 19 points and 14 rebounds to lead the way while Ekaterina Lisina added 18 points and Yuliya Rytsikava had 17.

Dynamo top Group H from Kayseri Kaskispor who won their opening game 71-49 on the road against Maccabi Bnot.

Latoyo Antoinette Sanders led the way with 20 points and 14 rebounds.

In Group A, WBC Dynamo rode 16 points and 10 rebounds from Elena Kharchenko to take an 81-69 road win over Horizont to join Botas Sports Club on 1-0.

The visitors controlled the game throughout and although a late rally saw Horizont outscore them by eight down the stretch, their win was never in doubt.

Shyra-Quontae Ely made a crucial block on the buzzer to preserve a 76-74 win for Sdent Helios over Basket Landes in Group G.

Last year's finalists Shay Doron and Elitzur Ramla opened their campaign with a convincing win over Spartak Noginsk

The hosts had established a 76-68 lead on Ely's jump-shot with 50 seconds to go but watched Landes take chunks out of it with a Jennifer Humphrey lay-up and Anais Le Gluher-Cano three-pointer.

Le Gluher Cano went to the line with three seconds left, down three, and after making her first free throw, deliberately missed the second for Humphrey to grab the rebound, but Ely made herself big.

Ely led Helios with 19 points while Le Gluher-Cano had 17 for the visitors.

Partizan Galenika top the group after dispatching MBK Ruzomberok 103-89 thanks to a colossal final quarter in which they poured in 37 points to come from behind.

Natasa Ivancevic poured in 21 points while Dajana Butulija had 20 and Milica Dabovic 17.

Elitzur Ramla opened Group H with a huge 89-51 win over Spartak Nognsk as Shay Doron went off for 20 points to lead five players scoring in double figures.

BC Chevakata took early control of Group E with a 72-34 rout of SISU Basketball, with Arras Pays D'Artois also winning their opening game, downing BBC Sint-Katelijne-Waver 78-47.

In Group C, Nantes Reze won 70-39 at AD Vagos to join Optimum Ted Ankara at the top of the early standings.
