Galatasaray continue to compile what is looking an increasingly impressive EuroLeague Women roster with each passing week after they moved to secure the services of Monique Curry who will follow the likes of Sylvia Fowles, Gintare Petronyte and Seimone Augustus to Istanbul.
Curry will step up to the elite club competition of Womens basketball having played last season in EuroCup Women with Russian side Nadezhda who themselves will also play in EuroLeague Women this season.
The versatile Curry was instrumental in leading Nadezhda to the EuroCup Women final after signing late in the season and will be looking to make a similar impact in 2010-11 in Turkey.
The versatility of Curry will certainly help Galatasaray as will her previous history of playing in the competition after a spell with Lotos Gdynia in 2008/09 while she has a wealth of experience having played in Israel, Italy and Russia.
Curry is currently lighting it up for Washington Mystics in the WNBA where she is averaging over 14 points per game in 26 minutes.
