Career: Soubry Kortrijk (Belgium-D1, 1995-96), BCSS Namur (Belgium-D1, 1996-2000), Waregem (Belgium-D1, 2000-2001), Mondeville (France-LFB, 2001-03), Arranz-Jopisa Burgos (Spain-LFB, 2003-06), Dexia Namur (Belgium-D1, 2006-07), Waregem (Belgium-D1,2007-2008)


The Belgian Player of the Year for the second time in her career, Nele Deyaert  made her return to Belgian basketball this season with Dexia Namur.  Deyaert competed for her country at EuroBasket Women 2003 in Greece. Afterwards, she went on to play in Spain with Burgos for three seasons.  This season, the Beveren native chose to come back to Belgium to play for Dexia Namur and won another Belgian Championship title and a Belgian Cup. Next season, she will stay in Belgium again, playing for Waregem. During qualification, she averaged 17 minutes per game, totaling 3.0 points and 4.3 rebounds per contest.
