US Valenciennes will enter their EuroLeague Women showdown with hosts Gambrinus Sika Brno as the leading side in France after a comfortable triumph at Tarbes this past weekend.
Sandra Le Drean, USVO's outstanding French international, had 15 points on six of nine shooting as the visitors prevailed 72-59.
Tarbes were unable to stop the European giants when they had the ball as they finished 29 of 46 (63%) from the floor.
USVO are battling Bourges for first place in the French top flight and the victory allowed them to leapfrog them.
Bourges topped the standings for less than a day after Saturday's 86-69 triumph over Stade Clermontois.
USO Mondeville are another of the EuroLeague Women sides in France and they slipped to a 93-91 home defeat to Calais.
