Most players who travel to Valencia to face Spanish juggernauts Ros Casares do so with trepidation because the basketball-mad city can be a very difficult place to play.
Lucienne Berthieu of French side US Valenciennes Olympic, who play at Ros Casares on Tuesday, is not just any player.
Berthieu used to play for Ros Casares and she is relishing a return to the beautiful city to take on her old club in the last 16 of the FIBA EuroLeague Women.
"It will be special to return to Valencia, because the city brings back some great memories," she said.
"It was wonderful to play for a squad full of talent and with a great history behind it.
"I also remember the fans and it will be great to play this tie."
Berthieu, 26, has inside knowledge of the opponents and she has warned her new team-mates to be wary of Spain internationals Amaya Valdemoro and Elisa Aguilar.
"They are very dangerous and if they are at the club it is for a reason," she added.
The return leg takes place in France on Friday evening.
