RheinEnergie Köln turned on the style in the second half to put away visiting BC Zadar and win for the second time in Group B of the EuroCup.
The German team prevailed 74-49 with Marcin Gorat scoring 15 points and Guido Grunhied adding 14.
The hosts jumped out to a 19-13 advantage in the first quarter but only led 34-30 at half-time.
They stretched their lead to 52-40 by the end of third period and put the game away in the fourth, outscoring Zadar 22-9.
Zadar, who were a woeful two of 17 from three-point range, had just one player in double figures, with Frano Colak scoring 12 points.
Köln play Basket Groot Leuven next week while Zadar face Gran Canaria. |
