BC Zadar cruised to a massive 92-58 victory over Slask Wroclaw in Group K action on Tuesday.
The hosts raced into an early lead and poor shooting from the visitors meant the Croatian side were never in danger of letting it slip.
With the margin at 29-14 by the end of the first quarter, Slask sought a way back into the game from beyond the arc. But they could only make a disappointing 3-of-19 from three-point range as Zadar moved out of reach, leading 47-25 by half-time.
Zadar got a big night out of Todor Gecevski who made 11-of-16 field goal attempts as he poured in 29 points and pulled down 14 rebounds to lead his team in both categories.
Jure Lalic added 15 points and Pankracije Barac had 13. Frano Colak grabbed seven rebounds to add to his 10 points.
Dzianis Korshuk led the Slask scoring with 13, while American Darren Kelly and Ante Kapov both had 12. Kevin Fletcher pulled down seven rebounds and scored four points.
The result is Zadar's biggest win of the current EuroCup campaign, eclipsing the 83-58 win over Basket Groot Leuven in November.
