Panionios wrapped up their Group G EuroCup first-phase campaign with a convincing 88-70 triumph at the expense of group whipping boys PBC CSKA Sofia.

Early in the second period, a Gregory Danielson three-pointer put the Bulgarians in front and Yordan Bozov scored with a jump shot to take the score to 28-23 in CSKA's favour.
Danielson's layup and two Traina free throws extended the lead to 32-23 and completed a 10-0 run for the visitors but the lead was reduced to four points by the midway point.
Panionios then went on a seven point run at the start of the third with Andre Hutson getting a layup and a free throw while Panagiotis Kafkis and Dragan Dojcin both added baskets to put the Greeks 46-43 ahead.

They eased comfortably home in the fourth and finish second in the Group with a 4/2 record while CSKA bow out of the competition with a 1/5 effort.
