ZVVZ USK Prague stormed to the Czech ZBL (women's league) title by sweeping Frisco Sika Brno in three games.

Lubor Blazek's side put the finishing touches on a terrific domestic campaign with an 82-52 victory in Game 3.

Delisha Milton-Jones scored 23 points and was named the MVP of the play-off Finals.

Prague came up short of reaching the EuroLeague Women Final Eight in Istanbul but at least finished the season on a high with a successful ZBL title defense.

"Brno dominated Czech basketball for years and we were the ones who wanted to emulate them," said Blazek.

"I'm glad that we caught up.

"We did everything to win the finals in three games because it's time to give our players time to relax before they join the national teams."

Blazek is also the coach of the Czech women's national team. He will now turn his attention to the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Ankara.

The Czechs, who finished fourth at last year's EuroBasket Women, are trying to make it to a third straight Olympic Games.

Katerina Elhotova, Eva Viteckova, Petra Kulichova and Michaela Zrustova are to be called up for the OQT in Ankara.

Ilona Burgrova was also in the Prague side but a injury cut short her season and likely ruled the center out of the national team for this summer.

Frida and Elin Eldebrink are Swedish internationals while Lindsay Whalen will play for the United States at the London Games.

Anna Montañana, 31, is a veteran in the Spain national team.
