The Spanish took a better start on a very unskillful Lithuanian team.
Led by outstanding Alameda, especially at 3 points shots, Spain quickly took the lead : 23-13 at the end of the first period.
At the 13th minute, the Spanish were even 15 points ahead but two successful long-distance shots reduced the gap to 5 points two minutes later.
Spain, however found some strength again in offense, with Alameda still at her best (18 points at 78 % at the break) and they led 47-34 at the end of the first half. Unable to stop the fluid passing game practised by the Spanish team, the Lithuanians ended 18 points behind in the third quarter. The Spanish were still very good at the shots (67 %).
The end of the game turned to be an easy task for Spain who achieved a well-deserved victory in this tournament.
