EuroBasket Handed Over To Ukraine

Basketball fans got their first glimpse of the EuroBasket 2015 logo on Sunday evening at half-time of the EuroBasket 2013 bronze medal game between Spain and Croatia, followed by the official tournament handover ceremony.

During the ceremony FIBA Europe Secretary General Kamil Novak, together with EuroBasket 2013 Ambassador Radoslav Nesterovic, passed the symbol of the tournament to the organisers of EuroBasket 2015, who were represented by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Vilkul and FBU president Oleksandr Volkov.

They all signed a basketball as a memory of this historic event that gives the start to another big tournament to be hosted in Ukraine in two years.
