Croatia and Greece advanced to the final of the Pannergy U18 European Championship Women, Division B, earning promotion to Division A in the process.
Croatia beat Latvia 83-73 in the first semi-final, after an astonishing game from Ivana Tikvic.
The Croatian star had a terrible first quarter, full of missed shots and turnovers, but she recovered just in time to lead her team to victory.
Tikvic finished with 32 points, 20 rebounds and got plenty of help from Ruzica Dzankic with 14 points, and Glorija Sikiric who totaled 13 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
Renate Reine finished with 26 points for Latvia, but missed two shots and one free throw in the final minute of the game.
Her team went scoreless in that span, letting the Croatians to finish the duel with an 8-0 run.
In the other semi-final, Greece routed Finland 67-45.
The head coach of the Greeks, Dimitris Bakogeorgos, used a short rotation and played the team's best player, Artemis Spanou, for 40 minutes.
But Spanou delivered the kind of performance that was expected from her, and finished with 26 points and 14 rebounds.
Anastasia Slouka added 16 points for the Hellenic side, while Annika Holopainen scored 20 points for Finland.
No matter the result in Sunday's final between Croatia and Greece, both teams will play next year in U18 European Championship Women Division A.
Hungary will fight Belarus in the game for fifth place. The hosts edged Israel, 71-60, while Belarus beat Portugal, 64-48.
In the Classification Round for 13th to 16th place, England finished off Luxembourg, 83-71.
The latter will play Austria, which beat Switzerland 68-43, on the final day.
