MVP Tikvic Leads All Tournament Team

U18 Women Division B

Ivana Tikvic, the big star of champions Croatia, was voted as the MVP of the Pannergy U18 European Championship Women, Division B.

The 1.89 center from Zagreb averaged an astonishing 20 points and 12.6 rebounds in the tournament and was the main force behind Croatia's run to the title and promotion to Division A.

Her achievement is even more important considering the MVP is still just 17 years old and so she will be able to directly enjoy the fruits of promotion by defending Croatia's colours in the elite category in next year's U118 European Championship.

Artemis Spanou and Georgina Kantara, both of Greece, Evita Iiskola of Finland and Fanni Szabó of hosts Hungary join Tikvic inthe All Tournament Team.

The Fair Play award went to the team of Switzerland.
