Spain are in the semi-finals for the first time since taking bronze in 2005 and are just one step from the title game at the U18 European Championship while Turkey are in the last four for the fifth time since 2004.
This game will come down to defense, especially the question if Turkey can slow down Spain's high-octane offense.
Spain are the top scoring team in the tournament as the top three-point shooting team, second in free throws, second in offensive rebounds, number one in assists and assist-turnover-ratio.
The Spanish also can defend the ball, ranking second best in points allowed and number one in total opponent field goal percentage, including second in 2-point percentage and tops in 3-point percentage.
Turkey for their part rely on consistent, steady offense, ranking fourth in field goal percentage while shooting the third-fewest three-pointers. Turkey have committed the second-fewest turnovers in the tournament and will need to continue that against Spain.
Another key for Turkey will be the third quarter as the Turks have struggled throughout the whole competition in the third quarter. They cannot afford a letdown after the break and let Spain build a lead.
