Belarus wrapped up their U20 European Championship Women campaign with a 53-43 victory over Slovakia, but the result was not enough to keep Slovakia from taking 13th place ahead of them.
Nedzeya Bohdan and Maryia Papova had 14 points each for Belarus, who withstood a late rally from Slovakia who took eight points off the lead in the final quarter, but missed their final seven three-point attempts to prevent a bigger comeback.
Angelika Slamova scored 13 points for Slovakia, who suffered their only defeat of the classification round.
Romania recorded their first win of the U20 European Championship Women at their final opportunity as they stormed back in the second half to top Germany 50-44.
In a battle of the two teams to have suffered the drop, Germany led 29-12 at half-time and looked more than comfortable, but a second-half collapse allowed Romania to capitalise.
Sonja Ursu led Romania with 19 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists, while Cristina Bigica had 11 points.
Sonja Greinacher had 12 points and 10 rebounds for Germany.
Despite the result, Germany finish 15th ahead of Romania.
