The eight teams that made it to the Qualifying Round and are still in the race to Division A are set after the last day of the Preliminary Round in the U20 European Championship Division B in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Group E will host Georgia, Bulgaria, Estonia and Denmark while in the parallel Group F the four squads come from Czech Republic, Belgium, Portugal and the hosting team.
After three games in the new group the top two teams from each side will play in the Semi-Final round and the winners will climb to Division A.
Group A saw Georgia drop a game for the first time in the tournament with an 85-89 loss to Romania, yet that wasn't enough to knock Georgia off the top spot.
The second team to keep the dream going is Estonia that lost to Poland 75-66 but finished a three-way tie with Poland and Romania first due to a better goal difference.
The 85-50 win over Romania in Day 1 played a key role. In the last game in the group F.Y.R. of Macedonia beat Switzerland 73-56.
In Group B Denmark finished the Preliminary Round with a 4-0 record after an 88-83 win over Slovak Republic.
Jonas Bergstedt had 33 points, 19 rebounds and three blocks for the winners while Richard Grznar collected 35 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for the Slovakians who won the first two games in the group but lost the following two and dropped out of the race.
The one to take advantage of that is Bulgaria who grabbed the second spot in the group with an 84-80 win over Hungary.
In Group C the Czech Republic and Portugal locked the top two spots before the last game day and took it easy today.
Portugal beat Norway 77-69 while the Czechs lost to Great Britain 85-74. Luxembourg came close to shock Finland but eventually lost 77-74.
In Group D the hosting team Bosnia and Herzegovina survived in the race to Division A after a thriller against Israel.
The hosts won 60-57 to take a 3-1 record and finish second.
Iceland got their first win in the games with a 97-84 victory over Belarus.
