Bojanovsky Comes Up Big Again
Boris Bojanovsky had another big game as Slovakia improved to 3-0 at the U18 European Championship Division B Men while four other nations have two wins after two games.
Bojanovsky collected 25 points and 10 rebounds - his third game with at least 15 points and 10 rebounds - in Slovakia's 99-66 victory over Norway in Group D.
Norway dropped to 0-2 despite 34 points from Chris Ndow.
The other Group D game saw Jesper Eliasson collect 25 points and 15 rebounds in Sweden's 85-80 win over Israel to improve to 2-1. Jonathan Person had 19 points, Tobias Borg scored 16 points, Fredrik Andresson hit for 13 points and William Magarity contributed eight points and 17 rebounds.
Noam Laish scored 23 points and Rafael Menco had 14 points and 10 rebounds for Israel, who dropped to 1-1.
Hungary and Bulgaria both improved to 2-0 in Group A. Adam Kovacs scored 18 points and Laszlo Polyak hit for 16 points as Hungary beat Luxembourg 79-58.
Gilles Polfer scored 20 points for Luxembourg, who dropped to 0-2.
Pavlin Ivanov scored 15 points to lead three players in double figures in Bulgaria's 67-55 victory over Georgia, who dropped to 0-2 despite 14 points from Aleksandre Chochia.
Romania improved to 2-0 in Group C with a 64-52 victory over Austria with Horia Cristiean scoring 16 points and Alexandru Olah collected 15 points and 18 rebounds.
Austria dropped to 0-2 though Luka Gvozden had 13 points and eight steals.
Both the Netherlands and Montenegro are 1-1 in Group C after the Netherlands won their encounter 62-57 with Mike Schilder scoring 13 points. Milos Pajovic hit for 17 points in the loss.
In Group B, Esben Reinholt scored 16 points as Denmark improved to 2-0 with a 60-42 victory over England, who dropped to 1-2 despite 12 points from Jamie Batish.
Belgium fell to 2-1 in a 54-47 loss to Estonia, who moved to 1-1 with Rait-Riivo Laane scoring 20 points. Reinert Torreele scored 10 points for Belgium.
