AWARDSSlovenia point-guard Nika Baric was named Most Valuable Player of the U18 European Championship Women 2010 in Slovakia.
Baric who headlined the All Tournament Team averaged 23.3 points, four rebounds and 5.9 assists in the tournament and was the main reason behind Slovenia's thrilling run into the tournament semi-finals.
Queralt Casas and Laura Gil of Spain, Martina Kissová of Slovakia and Gaia Gorini of champions Italy all provided right mix of talent and skills and were also named in the All Tournament team
Shooting guard Queralt Casas was a key instrument in Spain's machine averaging 8.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists.
Small forward Martina Kissova was one of the most important players in the Slovakia team. She was their sharpshooter in the tournament with 50 three-point field goal percentage and led the hosts in scoring with 13.6 points per game.
Power forward Gaia Gorini had her best game against Poland when she scored 13 points with 66.7 two-point field goal shooting percentage. She averaged 9.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.
Center Laura Gil was Spain's biggest factor in the paint and led Spain in scoring and rebounding with 9.1 and 7.7 respectively.
