Day 2 in the U16 European Championship Men Division B games delivered much closer games than the first day of action.

Denmark started their trip with a key 84-77 win over Finland to join Georgia at the top of Group A.

Kevin Larsen showed his set of skills with 16 points and 13 rebounds for the winners, who committed 26 turnovers but out-rebounded Finland 47-30 to capture the win.

In Group B Belgium started their schedule with an 82-74 win over Switzerland who are down to 0-2 now. Wim Vandenweyer hit 21 points for the winning side.

Bulgaria remained perfect after another big win, 91-72 following a very good second  half against the local team of Portugal. Once again the points were spread between several players led by 1994 born Deyan Karamfilov with 19.

Austria entered the line of games in Group C with a 61-52 loss to Belarus who now stand on a 1-1 record.

The team from Vienna scored only one point in the last six minutes which allowed Belarus to lock the win.

In the highlight game of the day the two winners of the first day in Group C, and favorites to make it all the day - Slovenia and Sweden - went head to head until Slovenia won 72-70 thanks a winning bucket by Tim Skerbec with four seconds to go.

Matej Rojc led Slovenia  with 24 points, while the best performance of the day was kept to Sweden's Jonathan Person who scored 30 after missing the first day of games.
