Nika Baric Named MVP Of Division B

Slovenia point guard Nika Baric was named Most Valuable Player of the U18 European Championship Women Division B.

Baric led her team all the way to the final game before falling short to Hungary, which also means Slovenia get promoted to Division A.

She averaged 19.3 points and 5.9 assists in over 33 minutes a game for the tournament.

Baric headlines the All-Tournament team which also includes Israel guard Avigiel Cohen, U18 European Champion Women Krisztina Raksanyi (Hungary), tournament top-scorer Ida Krogh (Denmark) and Sonja Greinacher of bronze medalists Germany.

Team Norway were handed the Fair Play Award for their camarad's behaviour towards all of the teams.
