Local Hero Cleo Forsman-Goga Gets MVP-Award

Sweden shooting guard Cleopatra Forsman-Goga was named Most Valuable Player of the U18 European Championship Women.

Forsman-Goga led her team all the way to the bronze medal in Södertälje.

She averaged 18 points, eight rebounds, two assists a game for the tournament while also collecting three double-doubles along the way.

Forsman-Goga headlines the All-Tournament team which also includes Olesia Malashenko (Ukraine), Sabine Niedola (Latvia), Allison Vernerey (France), Leonor Rodriguez (Spain).

Team Lithuania were handed the Fair Play Award for committing the least fouls in the tournament.
