Day Four: Sweden Stay Perfect, Georgia Win

Christopher Ryan hit two free throws with 11 seconds left as Sweden knocked off Portugal 63-60 to remain perfect in Group A of the U20 European Championship Men Division B.

Ryan came into the game averaging 18.5 points but was held to eight points though he made the big free throws and also dished out five assists in helping Sweden improve to 3-0.

Anton Gaddefors led the way for Sweden with 14 points while Edwin Odada added 12 points.

Portugal dropped to 2-2 despite 15 points from Jose Silva.

The other game of the day also came in Group A where Georgia improved to 2-1 with an 85-67 win over Slovakia, who fell to 0-3.

Torniko Shengelia paced Georgia with 24 points, eight rebounds and three blocks. And Nika Metreveli was one of three other Georgia players in double digits with 13 points.
