Christopher Ryan scored seven of his game-high 25 points in a 14-5 run to close the game as Sweden beat Slovakia 80-74 to stay perfect in Group A of the U20 European Championship Men Division B.
Slovakia led 69-66 with less than four minutes left before Sweden's final push to improve to 2-0. Anton Gaddefors added 16 points and Richard Hartman and Edwin Odada each added 10 points for the Swedes.
Slovakia dropped to 0-1 despite 17 points from Stanislav Baldovsky and 15 from Richard Grznar.
The only other game on Friday's schedule was also in Group A as Christopher Jones collected 38 points, eight rebounds and six steals in leading Luxembourg to an 86-67 victory over Portugal.
Laurent Schwartz scored 12 points and Raul Birenbaum chipped in 10 points for Luxembourg, who improved to 1-1.
Portugal dropped to 1-1 despite 11 points each from Nuno Oliveira and Cristovao Cordeiro and 10 by Jose Silva
