Losing by 23 points at Belgium on Monday night damaged Bosnia and Herzegovina's chances of topping Group A of the Additional Qualifying Round for the EuroBasket.
The 102-79 setback was so decisive that it gave Belgium victory in a potential tie-breaker with the Bosnians to win the group should the teams both finish 3-1.
For that to happen, though, the Belgians need to win at Portugal and judging from the way the Portuguese have battled in each of their games so far this year, they will be tough opposition.
"I congratulate Belgium on the win, but remain confident that we can win the group," Bajramovic said.
"Belgium still have to win in Portugal on Thursday."
Bajramovic knows that Belgium are a very good team as well, though, and will have a great chance in Portugal.
Eddy Casteels' men have played like men of steel, losing only a close game when they hit the road and faced the Bosnians.
Casteels looked back on Monday's win over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"The first half, we were on target offensively, but when we tidied things up in the third and quarter defensively as well, we secured the win," he said.
"Of course (Lionel) Bosco gave us a huge lift and (Jef) Van der Jonckheyd played a superb game, offensively.
"Nevertheless, this win is the whole team's merit. The players picked up the atmosphere in the gym and were 'in the mood'."
Bajramovic tipped his hat to Belgium.
"Belgium were hungrier than we were," he said.
The Group A winners will take on Group B winners France for the right to play at the EuroBasket in Poland.
