EuroBasket On Georgia's Mind

Georgia's long-suffering basketball fans have finally been rewarded with a place in Division A of the EuroBasket following their national team's 86-84 win over Belarus on Wednesday night.

With a 14-point cushion following their 89-75 win in the opening leg in Belarus, the Georgians prevailed 175-159 on aggregate.

Montenegro Beat Swedes, Go Up To Division A

Montenegro stormed into EuroBasket Division A with an 88-71 victory at home over Sweden on Wednesday night in the Promotion Round play-offs.

The win secured a 158-121 triumph on aggregate for Dusko Vujosevic's team.

Georgia Boss Belarus In First Leg

Georgia have taken control of their EuroBasket Division B promotion round tie against Belarus with an 89-75 victory in Mogilev on Saturday night.

Zaza Pachulia was a perfect 11 of 11 from the free-throw line en route to 19 points while Vladimer Boisa added 18 - making four of five shots from three-point range - to overpower the hosts.
