England beat Bosnia-Herzegovina 79-65 while Ireland destroyed Armenia 124-35 on Saturday in Group B games in the European U16 Championship for men.
England owed their win largely to their exploits in the second quarter which they took 19-5.
Ryan Richards was the undisputed star for the winners with 17 points and 13 rebounds while William J. Hall also hauled down 12 boards to go with his 14 points.
Richards was six from 10 inside the paint and also drained one from three attempts outside the arc while he converted two of six shots from the charity strope.
Levi Noel (15), Adam Thoseby (15) and Joshua Houghton (12) also made double-digit contributions.
However, Bosnia battled hard and in Remzudin Hasic had the top scorer with 22 points. Miralem Halilovic had 12 points and 13 boards.
Ireland dominated their Armenian counterparts. Six players posted double digits with Liam Conroy's haul of 22 giving him game high honours.
Conor Foley had 13 points and 12 rebounds while Gary Kane (19), Andrew Dawson (15), Cornelius Crowley (12) and Sean O'Connor (10) also impressed.
All four quarters were embarrassingly one sided with the Irish prevailing respectively 31-7, 33-12, 25-7 and 35-9.
