The other match in Group F saw Slovakia clinch their first triumph with a 84-69 win over bottom-placed Great Britain.

In Group E, Montenegro defeated Poland 72-61 to remain top of the pile.

Vladimir Dasic was once again the star man for Montenegro, pouring in 19 points as well as grabbing 11 rebounds and managing five assists.

Kamil Pietras paced Poland with 20 points in a losing cause.

Germany finished in second place thanks to their 91-62 triumph over Estonia, which came largely thanks to 19 points from Nikita Khartchenkov.

In the semi-finals Montenegro will play Finland while Ukraine face Germany.
