Ireland moved to the top of Group A at the UMCOR U18 European Championship Women B Division with an impressive 15 point win over Israel on Sunday.
The girls from the emerald isle dominated the boards, out-rebounding their opponents by 14 on their way to victory.
Jessica Scannell led the way with 18 points and nine rebounds while Susan Doyle recorded a double-double to the tune of 14 points and 11 rebounds.
The Irish now have only to win their final game against Portugal to take the top spot in what has been one of the competitions more competitive groups.
The Portuguese fell to Belgium in the groups other game on Saturday.
In a low scoring affair the Belgians got 14 points from Jasmina Rosseel, she was the team’s only double-digit scorer.
In other action, hosts Romania remained unbeaten with a 85-71 win over Finland.
Claudia Pop once again led the way as she dropped in 27 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
The 1.78m small forward is now averaging 20.3 points and 10 rebounds for the competition.
Slovenia also moved to 3-0 with a 72-51 domination of the Netherlands.
