The FIBA Europe Youth Draw will be taking place this upcoming weekend at the Venice Casino in Venice, Italy.
FIBA Europe will once again establish a record for participation as 215 teams will be taking part in this summer's youth competitions.
Last year, 191 teams participated, a record at the time.
2007 will mark the first year that the European Championship will be held at the Division C U18 category.
"The progress we have made in developing our youth competition format has been remarkable," said FIBA Europe President George Vassilakopoulos.
"Every year, our youth competitions are growing in terms of both visibility and competition level."
"FIBA Europe's investment in the youth programme has certainly paid off, as evidenced by what many of our youth players in the past are now doing at the senior level," added FIBA Europe Secretary General Nar Zanolin.
"This investment has certainly contributed to Europe's rise as the number one basketball continent in the world."
This year's draw will begin on Saturday at 11:00 local time and the results for each competition can be followed on fibaeurope.com.
As well as the draws, the FIBA Europe Youth Commission will meet on Sunday.
