Another exciting teenage talent who shows the future of Latvia's senior team could be bright, Laksa was barely 17-years-old when she was handed a shock senior team debut for the Final Round in France two years ago. She had not even played at an U20 European Championship Women, but was still thrust into the fray - albeit only for a handful of minutes. She returned during the qualification games last summer with limited time to shine and will be hoping to squeeze back onto the roster for this edition of the Final Round. There is little doubt that she has the talent and specifically the offensive ability, to be a difference maker at a high level if she keeps improving and working on her game. Meanwhile she is in safe hands continuing her basketball education with TTT Riga.
