The son of former Dinamo Tblisi and Georgian national team sharpshooter, Gia Sanadze, Duda has followed in his father's footsteps. His accurate shooting made him a mainstay of Georgia's junior national team at U18 level in 2010 and then with the U20s in 2011 and 2012. Such experiences worked against the swingman as he was forced to sit out his first year at the University of San Diego. But he has since made his presence felt, averaging 12.9 points per game during the 2013-14 season before enjoying seven games of double-digit scoring in 2014-15. Sanadze was introduced to the senior national team at EuroBasket 2013, but played a bigger role in last summer's successful EuroBasket 2015 2nd Qualification Round, averaging 7.4 points in 17.2 minutes while connecting on 10-of-14 three-pointers during six games.
