The next big Pole after Lampe and Gortat still has a lot to learn. He is well-known throughout the basketball world after being a star of the Polish U17 team which crushed Serbia and Lithuania, among others, on the way to a silver medal at the 2010 World Championships in Hamburg. Since then he has tasted the Polish League for a year and fulfilled his dream of playing in the NCAA by committing to Gonzaga University. In his freshman year he played behind the sensational Kelly Olynyk, limiting his court time. "Karni" is massive but mobile, with soft hands, nice footwork for such a big man, good passing skills and a deep knowledge of the game, being the son of a basketball coach. He will learn a lot from Gortat during their second run together in the national team.
