Giorgi Sharabidze - EuroBasket 2013 Profile

Team 2012-13: Armia Tbilisi (Georgia-Superleague)
Career: Pamesa II Valencia (Spain-EBA, 2008-09); Valencia (Spain-ACB, 2009); Valencia BC Sunny Delight (Spain-EBA, 2009-10); Armia Tbilisi (Georgia-Superleague, 2011-13)

Sharabidze is another big man on the long list that Georgia holds. Yet his name is famous for the wrong reasons as Giorgi is known for his numerous injuries. Sharabidze was taken to Lithuania as the 13th member of the Georgia team two years ago, but missed last year's Qualification Round because of injury. He can really help the team if he is fully fit and healthy. Sharabidze spent the early years of his career abroad in the lower divisions of Spain but returned to Georgia and while playing for Armia he showed that when he is healthy he is one of the better big men Georgia can bring to the championship.
