The versatile swingman comes to EuroBasket Women full of confidence, having returned from a season in Italy to land the Swedish Championship with the Dolphins. She produced typically all-action contributions throughout the year with her ability to lock down opposing dangers one of her biggest assets and she is a specialist in this area. Whilst there may be a queue ahead of her in terms of making the starting line-up, Aasa should be someone who can be utilised to come off the bench, help alleviate the threat from shooters and also help keep the scoreboard ticking over, since she is capable of scoring as well as finding open teammates. She already has tournament experience from representing Sweden at the World University Games, although interestingly, never represented her country at youth level.
