Having not participated in qualification last year, Consolini should be back on board after a hard slog in regaining fitness after serious injury. She returned with Schio last season, easing her way back and is almost back to her best. She was one of the main players in the rotation during the failed bid to make EuroBasket Women 2011 and has had a steady rise since stepping into the Italian set-up at the U18 European Championship seven years ago. Her step-back baseline shooting makes her a real threat on the perimeter and she will have to be guarded closely. She is a sound passer and can put the ball down on the floor and go past defenders if the opportunity arises. She could prove to be one of the main scoring threats in France.
