Marielle Amant made her tournament debut at senior National Team level last summer at the FIBA World Championship Women, a year after she helped her country secure a gold medal in Gdynia at the U20 European Championship Women where she produced a double-double in the Final. A great rebounder and real physical presence under the basket, Amant did relatively well in Czech Republic and showed enough to suggest she can develop into an important player at this level. A former French Young Player of The Year, the 21 years old is still evolving as a player and earlier this year experienced a EuroCup Women final with Arras where she has been for the past four seasons. |
