Getting better with age, the forward is a class act and that was no better evidenced than last summer, when she led her country in both scoring and rebounding during the successful 2nd Qualfication Round. She has come a long way in the latter part of her career, having barely been handed 10 minutes per game at EuroBasket Women 2009. Now she will step out at the Final Round to form a frontcourt spearhead with Ewelina Kobryn and as one of the major stars of the Polish team with above-average reliability, consistency and court smarts. With nice contributions in recent seasons in EuroLeague Women with Wisla Can-Pack, plenty of All-Star appearances and domestic success, Zurowska-Cegielska is now firmly established as one of the biggest names on Poland's books, but her heightened profile does not stop her working tirelessly. In fact look out for her somewhere near the top her team's steals chart due to her work ethic, anticipation and great reading of the game.
