The center has firmly established herself as the main pillar of strength in the paint for Spain, after being handed more minutes than any other Spanish player during qualification, which is a huge testament to the way she continues to mature for both club and country. A superb and voracious rebounder, with an appetite for doing the dirty work inside, her physical presence and ability to match-up defensively under the hoop is priceless. She is also the best shot blocker on the roster, something that further re-enforces her defensive capabilities. Having debuted at the Olympic Games during 2008 as a teenager, she's now part of the backbone of the senior team and also a rock for Rivas Ecopolis in Liga Femenina.
