Kyrylo Fesenko has continued in his quest to try and evolve into a serviceable NBA player at Utah while with the senior National Team he also continues to try and impose himself at the elite level. During the Qualifying Round, Fesenko showed he can finish around the hoop and that is only one of his many qualities. He can handle the ball capably and is an imposing shot blocker. Watch out for his aggression under the basket whether crashing the boards or just trying to establish position down low, where he is also capable of blocking shots. Always active with or without the ball, he has emerged as an unselfish player with Ukraine by using his court vision to find open team-mates, often when he has nowhere to go in the post. He is also a strong body for Ukraine defensively and while he is not the quickest, he has good hands and reads the game well enough to make him effective. While he once remained buried deep on the Utah bench, last season he broke through as a starter and now wants to continue that momentum to increase his influence with the National Team.
