Career: CFBB (France-NF1/2, 2003-06), Bourges (France-LFB, 2006-2011)
A great example of a player who plays ‘taller' than their actual height, Edene Miyem is a handful for opposing defences in the paint. Having been brought through the INSEP programme where she excelled for the National Team at the various youth levels, she has spent five years with Coach Vincent at Bourges terrorising opponents at club level with her raw power and aggressive approach inside. She had a huge FIBA World Championship Women last year when she led an injury hit France team in points and rebounds per game before injury ended her tournament early. At 23 years old, she is still evolving and should continue to improve in future years which is bad news for her opponents. She also took the French Young Player Of The Year award in 2008 after Sandrine Gruda. |
