If at first you don't succeed, try and try again, something which could be applied to the career path of the hugely talented Ersan Ilyasova. The forward didn't manage to make a success during his first stint in the NBA but after returning in the summer of 2009 with a couple of stand-out seasons in Spain at Barcelona sandwiched in between, he is now a genuine success at the Bucks. While not exactly spectacular at club level his entire career he has been a tower of strength with the National Team during the last couple of tournaments where he has top scored including 16.1 points per game during EuroBasket 2009 in Poland. He has a lengthy skill-set and can both score and rebound in the paint with regularity while he is also a big danger from the perimeter thanks to his relatively consistent three-point shot. While creating for his team-mates remains one of his few areas in need of improvement, he is effective on defence and will no doubt be seen blocking his fair share of shots.
