Andrea Oracova missed out on the action at the Final Round of EuroBasket Women2009 in Latvia despite playing a role in qualifying during the previous summer. She enjoyed a very fruitful and impressive career at youth level for her country where she managed to shine and collect a bronze medal during 2006 at the European Championship Women Division B. She has also found success at club level with Ruzomberok including a number of season playing in EuroCup Women, something she started when she was only seventeen years old and yet still averaged over 20minutes per game. She starred for Whirlpool Poprad last season and had one particularly memorable performance when her 21 points helped inflict the first defeat of the season on Champions Good Angels Kosice who had won 22 straight games before that night. She can score both inside and out which gives Coach Hejkova a potential bonus if selected.
