Team 2012-13: VS Prague (Czech-Repulic-ZBL)
Career: Minsk 2006 (Belarus-Premier, 2006-09), Basket Steel Kosice (Slovak Republic-Extraliga, 2009-10), MBK Ruzomberok (Slovak Republic-Extraliga, 2010-11), VS Prague (Czech Republic-ZBL, 2011-13)
Handed considerable responsibility by Coach Grigas, Tarasava is becoming a real favourite with fans too. As starting playmaker last summer during qualification, she delivered several impressive performances with Grigas appreciating her creative passing skills. A tenacious competitor, but with nice composure and execution, she can also make some shots from downtown and that makes her tough to guard. In fact, despite being a playmaker, she sometimes prefers to shoot rather than penetrate and get to the basket. She is now playing with much more control than ever before and maturing impressively at VS Prague where she helped the team advance to the EuroCup Women eighth-finals despite being in a tough group. She is seen as the long-term successor to the hugely popular and now retired Natallia Marchanka, although she will have to work more diligently defensively, to move her game to the next level.
