Kosta Perovic

Career: Beopetrol Beograd (Yugoslavia-YUBA League, 2000-02), Partizan Beograd (Serbia-Superleague, 2002-07)

Serbia’s tallest player was hailed as the next Vlade Divac for years, but Perovic has been struggling to fulfill that expectation the last few years. Perovic was selected for the National Team for the EuroBasket in Sweden four years ago. Unfortunately, a succession of nagging back and foot injuries have prevented him from rising to the next level. His huge frame and nice touch around the basket have kept NBA scouts drooling for a long time, but now Kosta isn’t even sure that he’ll be drafted in June. His season with Partizan has been solid and a spot in the National Team would surely increase his chances to play in the NBA, which is Perovic’s ultimate dream.
