BC FMP ZELEZNIK BELGRADE
Bojan Popovic

Career: FMP Zeleznik (Yugoslavia-YUBA, 2001-05), Dynamo Moscow (Russia-Superliga, 2005-...)

A ruthless fighter who makes no compromises. He can only imagine what it looks like to lose a ball. Great defender whose specialty is forcing his opponents into offensive fouls. His weakness is that he can not provide the same level on offense. For the last four years he has been a true leader of FMP Zeleznik (Reflex). In 2004 they won the Adriatic basketball league, and as captain, Popovic led the team to another trophy, the 2005 Radivoj Korac cup. No experience with the national team and his biggest rival for making the final 12 list will be Avdalovic. The best reference for Popovic is a fact that one of the best coaches in the world, Dusan Ivkovic, signed him to Dinamo Moscow.
