Team 2010-11: Boston Celtics (USA-NBA) Career: Partizan Belgrade (Serbia-Superleague, 2001-04), New Jersey Nets (USA-NBA, 2004-08), Triumph Lyubertsy (Russia-Superleague, 2008-09), Oklahoma City Thunder (USA-NBA, 2009-11), Boston Celtics (USA-NBA, 2011)
A true leader, Nenad Krstic has been a warrior for this hungry and vibrant Serbian team ever since he returned in 2008, having spent three years away from National Team duty. With years of NBA experience, he leads by example by producing consistently strong performances, evidenced by his superb contribution last summer at the FIBA World Championships when he was the top scorer and rebounder. He is a powerful presence in the paint and especially under the basket. He is not just about size, strength and power since he also has a nice shooting touch. He rebounds at both ends of the floor and provides wily and invaluable experience on defence. He is very much the senior player in the Serbian team and someone the younger players all look up to and especially if the going ever gets tough.
