The most experienced member of the Serbian roster, Matic brings a hard-nosed veteran approach under the basket, something which will prove to be particularly useful defensively. She has played across Europe with elite clubs for many years and whilst not quite as mobile as she was during her younger days, the 34-year-old can still mix it inside with her opponents and prove to be a handful. Happy operating in the high or low post, she will work off the ball and utilise her her size and rebounding ability to limit second chance points for the opposition, but also to help facilitate all-important second chance points for her team. She is still a very good offensive rebounder, using crafty body positioning and years of experience to mop-up on the glass. The center will also despatch most opportunities she gets in and around the basket, showing her efficiency during qualifying with some useful numbers.
